SERBIA FISHING ADVENTURES
gourmet fishing with a cultural twist
Serbia is home of some of the finest fishing lure makers in the world. I am one of Serbia’s top fishing lures designers and constructors. I make fishing lures to catch any saltwater or freshwater predators out there; my fishing lures are works of art, unique pieces, proud members of many fishing lures collections all around the world. And, I am a skilled angler. We can exchange our fishing knowledge and learn from each other, talk about fishing equipment, or just tell fishing stories from our experiences.
Finally, there are many historical facts, anecdotes, stories, local recipes and cooking instructions, basic ideas of local culture. I have different locations in my mind for these events, locations I visited and fished for many times that I got to know well, including local people, gourmets and customs.
Groups up to 5 people
The program follows and depends on fishing season and local fishing regulations.
These trips will include transportation from agreed location to fishing spots, site seeing, visiting local curiosities on our way, fishing throughout the day, breakfast and lunch, drinks, fishing equipment, local fishing guide, fishing permits. The landscapes are beautiful, local food and beverages are abundant and extremely tasty, local culture is amassing, and we’ll visit ancient monasteries and breathtaking natural sites. Wildlife, including mammals, birds etc, provide excellent possibility for drone flying and making amassing videos during the fishing adventure. Most of the rivers or lakes we will visit are crystal clear, so if you are a diver or underwater photographer, there will be also an opportunity for you to practice your hobby too. For small groups I usually play the chef as well. Meals by the river, bbq, cooked dishes and so on, chosen by me for this day, weather conditions and so on for this particular day, prepared during the fishing brakes will leave you breathless, as well as quality of spring water and other beverages: domestic juices, rakia, wine, beer and so on. The trip lasts 12 hours in total.
Depending on the season, targeted species are trout, chub, pike, zander, asp and catfish, and salmon, during the winter.

This category of the event is similar to the first one. However, there are some differences in equipment, transport and organization of meals. A bigger vehicle, and local restaurants need to be included, as well as a bigger team of fishing guides. Target species, locations and other elements stay the same.

The program follows and depends on fishing season and local fishing regulations
Groups larger than 8 people require rent of 20 seats minibus and additional fishing gear. Therefore, larger groups require larger budget.
Also, they require larger space for fishing and additional fishing guides. Program for this team building is a bit different, includes also wine tours. Local tour guides and animators, and local program for entertainments. The distances are the same. Fishing guides, local ”tamburica” bands, presentations of local customs, local ways of food preparation, fishing permits, gear, transportation etc. So, one of the ideas is following:
Parting from Belgrade at 8:00 in the morning
One stop visit to local wineries with wine tasting, buffet breakfast included, local tour guide and local culture, customs
Arrival to the fishing spot, that is also a restaurant exclusively rented for the group, with unlimited food (lamb on spit, venison stew, bbq, vegetables, salads, local sweets and pies) and drinks (wine, beer, rakia, domestic juices, water, coffee, tea)
Fishing at will, so every team member can go and fish at local lake just in front of the restaurant

OVERNIGHT STAY
For groups up to 6 (six) person there’s an option for overnight stay in a beautiful pension just by the River Danube. House settled between two bodies of water, amassing hosts, freshwater fish prepared in a traditional way and sufficient beverages will make this stay a time to remember.
And, the most important, fishing prolonged for another day!
